Grammy nominations were announced last night & as to be expected
Beyonce has a boat load... hahaha so does
Taylor Swift #Kanyeshrug! Any category that has
Kings of Leon-Use Somebody nominated I want them to win, especially in categories that really go to the song writer (
song of the year, record of the year)... being as the brothers wrote the song with no outside credited source. Keri Hilson is up for new artist but I think that is a bit much... personally...
Black Eye Peas got a few noms, so did Jamie Foxx...
Kelly Rowland managed to sneak in there...
Kid Cudi received 2 & so did
Drake who doesn't even have an album out... I put up all the rap categories because come show night only 1 or 2 awards will actually be televised... we're going to stop pretending rap isn't a mayor genre in music... they may need to step it up in the content department but non-the-less... but check how Jay-Z is nominated twice in 1 category... talk about the odds being in your favor! In order to qualify recordings had to be released during the eligibility year October 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009. We'll have to wait until 2011 to see Alicia & Rihanna battle it out!
